Denne etiopiske hovman, som Filippos får hjälpa fram till dopet till Kristus, förde enligt traditionen den kristna tron till Etiopien. Den Etiopisk-ortodoxa kyrkan är idag statskyrka i landet och en av världens äldsta kyrkor.
